*Pro Tip: You have FULL control of your own roast! You can always follow my recommendation with the ROAST NUMBER, or venture off to experiment and try something new!

In general:

Lighter Roasts: Will have MORE caffeine than a darker roast due to the shorter roasting process. This causes a naturally sweeter, mellow, and delicate overall brewing experience.

Medium Roasts: This is the best way to try a new coffee option, especially if you are unsure of the nuanced flavor profile. This is the safest way to get the "truest" natural flavors from coffee, before adding cream or sugar. Great gift idea choice for someone you know is a coffee drinker, but not sure on their preference.

Darker Roasts: Dark, French, & Italian roasts are the boldest flavors. If you think of coffee as roasting a marshmallow, this is the best way to picture the roasting process. The longer you leave your beans in to roast, the more the natural sugars caramelize (and eventually burn), giving that bold, smokey, rich, and deep flavor.

Sourcing & Certification: Coffee is sourced from responsible & ethical sources. Please note any certification listed in each description. These farmers work hard to acheive extra certification for their farms & crop to provide sustainable products for your coffee mug. Please check back often for new releases & seasonal selections!

Packaging is sourced domestically in the USA. It is a vision of Corbean's Coffee Co. to eventually switch to packaging options more suitable for the environment lesser impact in the landfill.

Coffee is currently packaged in Kraft paper bags with a PLA foodgrade liner, offering faster break down in landfills.

*Bonus Tip: Coffee grounds are AWESOME for home composting & gardens! After you brew your awesome, custom-roasted coffee, simply take your grounds out to a compost heap. Earthworms love it! It adds great pH to soil (within reason). Never put coffee grounds down a sink drain - it is bad for the plumbing and your local waste water municipality.

Once you receive your order, the best way to store your fresh-roasted coffee is to keep it in the container it arrived in, or transfer it to your favorite coffee canister.

Coffee should always be stored in a cool, dry area (typically a pantry will do best).

A common misconception is to store coffee in the refridgerator or freezer. This is not recommended since that may add extra moisture or unwanted flavors and aromas to your coffee.

Best results are to always store in a pantry, out of sunlight, and keep it air-tight!

Roasting, Shipping, & Packaging

Your coffee will ALWAYS be roasted and shipped on the same day - Freshness is what this company is built on. As soon as your order is roasted and packaged, it will be shipped via USPS.

Roasting & Shipping happens Monday - Friday between 6am & 3pm CST.

All major holidays are observed and orders will be fulfilled & shipping the following business day.

In an effort to provide affordable shipping costs & promotions, boxes are re-used from a prior (appropriate) use to then ship your order! Some packaging will not correspond with this company, simply because we wish to offer additional options to be responsible, economical, and eco-friendly during the shipping process.
